Through the years, INTERITUS DEI welcomed us into their world of occult and magic. The new song, called "V.I.T.R.I.O.L." is no exception, as the lyrics capture the essence of the alchemical formula, which is the acronym of the Latin: "Visita interiora terrae rectificando invenies ocultum lapidem", which means "Visit the depths of the Earth and by rectification you will discover the hidden stone." There are other alchemical symbols too that are presented in the song, such as the green lion, the raven, the eagle and the red dragon, but it also refers to Socrates' incentive: "Gnothi seauton" in Greek, "Nosce te ipsum" in Latin, or "Know thyself" in English, because realizing that your only enemy is the one you see in the mirror is the first step in the process of knowing yourself.
