Behind a painted smile,
Just hatred and denial,
But yet, they vote for the puppeteer!
Give them a little something,
A little more than nothing
And yes! They'll vote for the puppeteer!
Crowd! Crowd! Crowd!
Bread and circus for the crowd!
Crowd! Crowd!
Bread and circus!
They walk a path they did not choose,
Nobody's asking: "Why am I feeling confused?"
The answer is nowhere to be found,
As long as people will forever act like a crowd.

In face of death, they needed to have
A winning card hidden in the sleeve.
They believed that the spirits lasts,
(But) the flesh is week.
So, they needed something built to last,
Something to replace the rotting flesh.
The stone was good enough
To be the shelter for the soul...
Signs, symbols and faces and shapes!
Statues and columns and domes!
Sons of the hammer and the stone!
Riddles of the dead...
They chose the marble to be the paper
And the chisel to be the pen,
They built their thoughts in three dimensions,
In face of death they were sagacious men.
They built not for the eye,
Not for the stone,
Not for the sake of immortality.
What seems to be just a pile of bricks,
Is more then the eye can see.
There was a time of darkness and fear
And the world was a battle zone
But still, the craftsmen wrote
Their history in stone.
In spite of all the plagues and wars,
They spread their marvels all over the land.
Yet, they used symbols only few
Can really understand.

No hope, no direction;
I need to see a spark,
Or to feel a hand to drag me
Out of the dark.
My steps are so heavy
And this blindness drives me mad.
It seems like the ground is burning,
I want to fly instead.
...So I try...
I try to fly,
I spread my wings and dash up to the sky.
But the darkness is still there,
It really doesn't seem to care
And if I want to land again,
I'll crash.
I hear no sound,
I feel no breath...
Maybe I just crossed the boundary of death.
I was led by vanity,
I wanted to be a better me
And the darkness made me taste
Defeat.
No hope, no emotion,
I am about to die,
But suddenly I feel
A hand touching my eyes.
A voice asks another:
"What do you ask for him?"
"The light we want!" is the answer
And the light I receive.

La o margine de sat,
Unde-i locul necurat.
Foc mare or încropit
Şi s-or pus pe dănţuit,
Ochiul rău or ridicatu,
Mana vacii c-or luatu!
Strâga! Strâga!
Duhul necurat...
Strâga! Strâga!
Rău o blăstămat!
Cu farmecele în mân
Şi cu râhna-nhiptă-n sân,
Cu selnicul la chişior
Şi untură de dihor,
Gubăvia o-mpărţea
La oricine le-ntâlnea,
Zgaiba animalelor,
Într-un fapt de promucior...
Du-te, strâgă, pe pustie,
Unde nime' nu te ştie!
Cu biciul te-oi biciui,
Până pielea ţi-o plesni!

For he took a vulgar iron rung
And turned it into a mighty sword.
Hail for the son of Lamech and Zillah!
Hail for the mighty brother of Naamah!
His name will forever last clean!

Forging the metal, taming the fire!
What a poetry!
He is the one who invented the art of alchemy!

But as the hate among the people grew,
He came to see the sword in the wrong hands.
He turned the iron into something new,
Meant to plow the willing lands.

I am a soldier in war
It's not my fight but I’ve been told
To guard the trench, (Oh God!), so close
Of enemy lines.
...And it's so cold!
I keep a picture at my chest:
My little brothers and my mom.
I'm sure we gonna meet again
They smile for me.
I'm so alone...
It's freezing and so dark!
I miss my home so much!
When I'll come back I will meet my girl,
All of my friends and my dear mom!
When I'll come back it will be alright...
All will be alright!
Oh, the silence now it's gone
And the earth it seems to burn
And the enemy attacks!
Search for cover, they are fast
Time it's freezing in a blast
And i suddenly feel stuck.
Now I'm lying on the grass,
I'm sure for me the war has passed
And I can even fly around...
A soldier checks my uniform
And takes the picture of my mom
With tears in his eyes...
I'll never meet my girl again,
She will grow old without my love,
My mom without her elder son,
But they will be alright!

Legions of demons inhabit the Earth
And legions of demons inhabit the Earth.
The final eclipse
I know what it means.
I see the end
How it begins!
Watch out! Here they come,
Creatures of the night.
They are lurid like death.
Broken wings, shattered dreams,
Forever opened wounds...
And they claim their revenge.
Give me a stone to lay myself under
Or give me a shell to hide myself into.
The darker side of me is revealed
As innocence dies.
